Wisconsin's construction industry is struggling with a shortage of skilled workers.
On Wednesday, students from Kimberly High School and Fond du Lac High School attended "Skilled Trades Day" at Fox Valley Technical College's Oshkosh campus. Local contractors gave the teens hands-on lessons in masonry, pipe fitting, carpentry and electrical work in hopes of getting them interested in pursing a career as a skilled craft worker.
