Six people hurt in Outagamie County crash

TOWN OF BUCHANAN, Wis. - Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputies say six people are hurt, including five juveniles, after a crash in the Town of Buchanan.

Deputies say this happened Monday just before noon at the intersection of CTH GG and CTH Z in the Town of Buchanan.

A vehicle was traveling north bound on CTH GG and deputies say the driver failed to stop at the intersection and hit a pickup truck traveling westbound on CTH Z.

The five juvenile occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital for life threatening injuries. The jaws of life were used to extricate four of the juveniles trapped inside the vehicle.

The 24-year-old woman who was driving the pickup truck from Plainfield was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
