Seven Wisconsin men were indicted on meth distribution, firearms and kidnapping charges Wednesday in federal court.
Six of those men are from Northeast Wisconsin. They are:
- Christopher Maccani, 37, of Green Bay
- Jimmy Desotell, 25, of Green Bay
- Christopher Champine, 35, Green Bay
- Umero Saldana, Jr,, 39, of Green Bay
- Ryan Pieper, 33, of De Pere
- Joshua Sepulveda, 34, of Denmark
Another man, Levester Brown, 33, of Milwaukee, was also charged.
Brown, Maccani, Desotell, Champine, Saldana Jr. and Pieper were allegedly involved in a conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of meth.
Maccani, Desotell, Champine and Saldana Jr. are also charged with possessing a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
Champine and Sepulveda are accused of holding an unnamed person against their will for retaliation while brandishing a firearm.
Brown and Pieper face a mandatory 10-year prison sentence up to a lifetime behind bars and a $10 million fine.
If convicted on all counts,Champine faces a mandatory 42 years to life in prison and more than $10 million in fines.
