Fox Crossing Police say officers confronted a man with a knife on the Trestle Trail Wednesday afternoon. Now the trail and Fritse Park are closed after someone fired shots.
Police say they can't confirm who fired the shots, but say the Wisconsin Department of Justice is now investigating.
Neighbors say this incident brings back memories of a shooting here in 2015.
The police chief says this was an isolated incident.
He wouldnt' say if anyone was hurt but said the community is no longer in danger.
