Neighbors in Fond du Lac heard gunshots throughout the city Monday night.
The first calls to police started around 10:30 p.m., stating shots could be heard near the 500 block of 4th Street.
Twenty minutes later, callers said shots could be heard at other locations in the city. Police did find shell casings near the 4th Street location, but did not find any others elsewhere.
No damage has been reported, and no one was injured.
Police do not have any information on a possible suspect, but could be seen collecting evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
