Experts are warning shoppers ahead of the holiday season to be careful using their smartphones to shop.
The Better Business Bureau says to make sure the site is secured. You can often tell by looking at the URL bar, a lock icon will show that the site is secure.
They say to only make purchases on websites you've shopped at on a laptop or desktop.
They also warn you to never store financial information on your phone.
