Today the National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Brandon yesterday.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department says they're responding to a weather event near Brandon.
Officials are investigating a possible tornado.
Sources tell us power lines and trees are down. Hwy 49 is closed. A headquarters has been formed at Main and Center streets. There are no reports of injuries at this point.
Allient Energy says about 650 people are without power.
The National Weather Service will be the area on Saturday surveying the damage to determine if there was a tornado.
