BARRON, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Barron County Sheriff’s Department says they continue to follow up on tips and look over the case with the continued support of the FBI and DCI agents.
Thursday, the department again used a helicopter to cover the area that was searched by the public to look for any changes on the ground, especially since most of the leaves have fallen now. The sheriff says this search is not based on any new tips.
The department says the case still remains their number one priority.
