The Sheboygan Police Department have had numerous reports of counterfeit bills circulating in the area. The bills are marked as $20 dollar bills. They have "replica" printed on the front of the currency and it states on the bill that "This note is not legal. It is to be used for motion pictures."
Police are warning consumers and local merchants to be aware when accepting bills and make sure to check authenticity.
