UPDATE: Two people have now been arrested in connection with this crime, according to the Shawano Police department's Facebook page. The Chief posting " Shortly after noon on January 27th, two people were taken into custody regarding this incident. At this time we feel we have all of the people involved. The Shawano Police department is investigating after a woman suffered life threatening injuries after being shot early this morning.
Shawano Police report they responded to a report of gunshots on the 1000 block of E. 5th Street shortly after 3:30 this morning.
They found a 31 year old Shawano woman who had suffered a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Attorney General files petition to keep 'Halloween Killer' from being released
They believe she was targeted, and the public is not in danger. They report they are following several leads in the case.
