The Senate has voted to confirm the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama to become the Attorney General. A former prosecutor he promises a focus on tougher enforcement of laws on immigration, drug and gun trafficking. Senator Sessions was the first Senator to support President Trump in his bid for the White House.
