School groundskeeper charged for theft of drugs

Two misdemeanor charges for theft of property of less than $2,500 and drug possession were filed Friday for school district groundskeeper Cameron Drake, 25, of Suamico. 

Police say Drake was stealing, and using, Adderall -- a drug most commonly prescribed for ADHD -- which was stored in filing systems within each school along with other student medication.

According to the criminal complaint, Drake was informed by the school district that he was suspended the same day he was arrested, on April 6.

Amphetamine salts, methylphenidate and Adderall were reported missing from the following schools:

Fort Howard: 49 doses

Webster: 43 doses

Jefferson: 35 doses

Keller: 19 doses

McAuliffe: 18 doses

Eisenhower: 13 doses

Tank: 12 doses

Baird: 6 doses
