IRS warns tax filers of scams

It's the first day the IRS will accept income tax returns for 2015. It's also the beginning of a huge time for tax scams and identity theft. Phone calls and Emails are easy targets, many asking for your personal information or demanding money. 

Fraudulent tax returns do happen and it can cause you to wait up to 12 weeks if you are expecting a return. 

Tonight, Ashley Barnes has a look at keeping your information safe during tax season and what the IRS is doing to ensure your tax return is really from you.
