The Fox Cities Salvation Army is in what it calls a "desperate need" for volunteers to help with the agency's noon feeding program.
Leaders tell NBC26 the number of people why rely on those services has grown tremendously. "We serve about 70 to 75 people a day," Volunteer Coordinator Amanda Schmidt explained. "That number goes up on the weekend when we serve about 150 on a busy day.
Volunteers prepare and serve meals. They also help sort food and stock the shelves at the pantry. To sign up as a volunteer, click on http://www.safoxcities.org/fox_cities/Your_Support
