Thousands of families will see presents under the tree on Christmas morning thanks to the generosity of the community and the work of the Salvation Army. Today was the final day of the Salvation Army's Christmas distribution. Toys and food baskets were collected and given to families that registered with the charity. The Christmas assistance program is funded by donations given during the red kettle bell ringing campaign and other contributions.
