UPDATE: Iola Police Chief Robert Prahl says nothing suspicious was found. They have no suspect or suspects at this time.

A safety threat written on a bathroom stall late this afternoon caused all Iola-Scandinavia school buildings to be evacuated and on lock down until the buildings can be secured.
No access to any school building will be allowed until further notice. This includes the elementary, middle/high and fitness and aquatic center. All after-school activities have been canceled.
According to a previous Facebook post from Wednesday at 6:30 PM, there will be no school Friday as it is a records keeping day for staff.
