Safe Haven Humane Society workers say in the state of Wisconsin, there are plenty of animals in need of a loving a home. They also help struggling pet owners feed their pets.
They felt a car show would help address these issues.
"It's something that no other, I've never seen it done by another animal rescue. It just reaches other people, people who love cars, love animals," said Ladawin Reuter
Organizers say they try to keep the animals strictly in Wisconsin.
