Runners preparing for the Fox Cities Marathon

The 2018 Fox Cities marathon is a little over 4 months away, and organizers are kicking off a 18 week training program, focused on the right tools needed to get to the starting line.

"I use the training runs as my tool to get to the start line. At the training runs they do turn by turn directions, it supported by water stations," said Jennifer Thompson, pacesetters of the Fox Cities said.

Training is important, as a tool to train the runner to listen to your body and prepare with proper nutrition and hydration.
