Road construction on Packerland Drive in Green Bay has some concerned about the 2016 Election.
Locals say road closures at the intersection of Larsen Road and Packerland Drive are making it difficult to get to the Botanical Gardens polling location.
Yvette Figueroa of Oneida reported that traffic was backed up as far as Mason Street. She worries that the road construction combined with long lines at the polls will deter people from casting their votes in the 2016 Election.
While construction has been going on for weeks, Figueroa stated that this is a problem because residents are supposed to have easy access to and from the polls.
If you are trying to get to the Botanical Gardens to cast your vote today, you can avoid the road closures by taking West Mason Street to Country Club Road and then turn on Larsen Street.
