The Packers are reportedlyadding a new running back to the mix.
NBC Sports is reporting that the Packers have traded for Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis.
Davis was drafted by the Chiefs in round three of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arkansas.
The move comes as Eddie Lacy battles an ankle injury. Running back James Starks is out with a knee injury.

The last time GM Ted Thompson tradedfor a running back was in 2008, for Ryan Grant.
Last time Ted traded for a RB, it was @RyanGrant25. Became two-time 1,200-yard rusher. Cost a 6th. Eager to see what round pick Davis costs.

The Packers would be giving up a conditional late round pick for Davis.
