St Louis NBC affiliate KSDK reports a police officer has been shot in the Ballwin area, a suburb of St. Louis, law enforcement sources have confirmed.
The officer is being taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
