The Tico Times is reporting fugitive John Saatio escaped from the immigration detention center in Hatillo, Costa Rica on Sunday. The newspaper reports the 34 year old Michigan man escaped through a ventilation duct during dinner.
Saaito is wanted in Michigan and faces several charges including home invasion and destruction of police property. He was reportedly spotted in Green Bay before being arrested in the Central American country on June 2.
