During a business event in Marion on Friday, Congressman Reid Ribble said the concerns about gun control are warranted following the nightclub massacre in Orlando. He says Congress should openly discuss the issue.
"It's not an inappropriate thing to be talking about the weapons of destruction that were used in this event down in Orlando and other mass killings in the U.S."
Rep. Ribble says he's a firm believer in the second amendment but worries about terrorists getting guns.
