The bells are now silent as the red kettle campaign comes to a close.
The Brown County Salvation Army's early tallies show they exceeded their red kettle goal by $10,000. The goal was $327,000 and leaders say they have $337,000 in donations.
In the Fox Cities, leaders there say they're still counting the cash, but they may come up short.
There's still time to donate. While the kettle are put away, the Christmas campaign still runs through January 31st.
