Pulaski police department holds fundraiser for new canine officer

The Pulaski Police Department is asking for help to fund a new canine officer.

Their current K9, Raider, will retire later this summer.  The department's goal is to raise at least $80,000 to replace him.

They're launching My Pulaski K9 in hopes to raise the funds needed for a new canine.

"It would serve the community more as a whole, than just strictly narcotics.  Our current canine with the school resource officer in schools verses out in the community," said Kyle Betzner, Pulaski Police Department.

The K9 Fun Run is a run to benefit the fundraiser will be held in late April.  You can register for that race online.
