Pulaski High School students have taken advantage of a pond near their school to raise yellow perch and grow vegetables.
Horticulture and aquaculture students, along with Future Farmers of America members, are raising the fish to sell in the community and use in the district's culinary program, among other uses.
They are using a hoop house and tank to raise the fish.
Using nutrients from the fish tank, vegetables will also be grown about nine months of the year for the community.
