The "Justice Organization Sharing Hope United for Action Group", or "JOSHUA", discussed the topic of re-incarceration in Green Bay tonight. Community members met to talk about the health and financial impacts of people going back to jail without committing another crime., usually for parole violations. According to the group, 3,000 people were sent back to jail last year, nearly half of them parents. Beyond the harm it causes families the group says the issue costs Wisconsin taxpayers over $140 Million dollars a year.
