A prayer vigil in downtown Appleton took place Saturday morning and lasted into the early afternoon hours.
Nearly a dozen immigrants, many of Latino heritage gathered in response to President Donald Trump's latest actions against immigrants and refugees.
Demonstrators gathered at Houdini Plaza to show unity and raise awareness about actions they feel are being directed toward anyone who's from another country.
"We believe everyone deserves respect and everyone deserves a better life and we have to work together because today I think we are divided in so many ways," said Vasilisa Hernandez of Appleton.
Many of those protesting say they fear for their future in the United States and the future of their families in years to come.
