Two people were arrested early Monday morning after reports of shots fired in the City of Shawano.
Shawano Police say a call came in around 12:22 a.m. about “shotgun blasts” coming from the area of Union and Lieg Streets in the City of Shawano.
Officers responded and heard loud explosive sounds coming from 606 E. Lieg Street.
People inside the home refused to exit and the Shawano County Special Response team was called to help.
Shawano Police say they believed a 13-year-old was in the home and was possibly in danger.
The homeowner wasn’t there at the time but gave police permission to go inside.
Once inside, police found two adult males and a 13-year-old girl.
The 13-year-old was released to family.
Charges are pending on the two adults.
The incident is still under investigation. Police say the public is not in danger.
