Police are searching for a red truck that was stolen Thursday night.

Around 8:51 p.m. Thursday, Wrightstown Police says officers were called to the Wrightstown Department of Public Works for a report that the front gate of the security fence was “torn off and laying in the road.”

Police believe a vehicle from inside had crashed through the locked fence. The superintendent at Wrightstown Public Works told police that a Red 2008 Dodge RAM 5500 with a hydraulic dump box was stolen from the plant.

The truck has a Municipal License Plate number of 77340.  The truck may also have “Village of Wrightstown” written on the doors of the vehicle but they could have been easily removed due to them being magnetic signs.  The truck will have front-end damage because of going through the fence.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wrightstown Police Department at (920) 532-6007 or the Brown County Public Safety Communications Center at (920) 391-7400.
