Police search for hit-and-run driver in Neenah

Police are searching for the driver who apparently hit a bicyclist and drove off. 

Around 7:20 a.m. Thursday, the Neenah Police Department was notified of a vehicle versus bicycle crash on West Cecil Street near Reddin Avenue.

Police say the bicyclist, an 80-year-old man, had serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The man was in stable condition Friday morning and was expected to be released later in the day or within the next few days, according to the police chief.

Police are looking for the vehicle that fled the scene. Potential witnesses are encouraged to call the Neenah Police Department at 920-886-6000.
