Appleton police are searching for the driver and a passenger involved in a hit and run with a motorcycle on Saturday morning.
Investigators say the motorcyclist was knocked off his bike and suffered non life threatening injuries while attempting to turn left on Grant when the car hit him. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police report two people were in the car at the time of the crash. The vehicle, which was reported stolen from New Berlin, was recovered several hours after the crash in the 1800 block of E. Randall Street. A warrant was issued so officers can search for evidence linked to the hit and run crash.
