Sheboygan police say two people have been arrested after not credible threats were made to schools.

The Sheboygan Police Department investigated two separate threats to local schools. Both investigations led to arrests and the threats were determined to not be credible. Police say there is no viable threat to any of the schools in Sheboygan.

Police say although these threats did not represent any real danger to our community, a large number of people suffered anxiety because of the threats. Officers say they want people to understand the best way to handle these kinds of posts.

They say the right course of action is to report threats to authorities. This may be a parent, school staff or police.

They add that you should not continue to share these posts on social media. If you see something, say something.
