Marinette man dies after a train vs pedestrian crash

UPDATE: Marinette Police have identified the man hit and killed  by a train Friday morning. 
 
46-year-old Jeffery Lewis Clark of Marinette was killed. 
 
Police say he was out walking a dog at 1:47 a.m. when the train struck him. 
 
The train sounded its horn, according to police. 
 
Lewis Clark's dog is being treated for injuries.

MARINETTE, Wis – A 46-year-old Marinette man is dead after a train vs pedestrian crash.
 
It happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Friday.
 
Police did not share the location of the crash. 
 
The man's name is not being released at this time. 
 
A press conference has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Friday. NBC26 will have a crew there and will update this story.
