Sheriff's deputies have identified the body recovered from Big Green Lake.
They say the victim's name is 43-year-old Eugene Ware from Green Bay.
Deputies say there are strong indications that this was an accidental drowning.
On Saturday, Green Lake County officials received several calls about a possible drowning victim on Big Green Lake.
Officials say they responded to the area where the person was last seen. They say a man was located around 07:15 PM in 109 ft. of water. His body was recovered at 07:46 PM and was transported to shore. The Green Lake County Coroner’s Office was on scene and pronounced death at that time.
