One person has died after a shooting at a San Antonio, Texas mall, according to the San Antonio Police Department. Police described the shooting as a "robbery gone really, really bad."
Two people robbed a Kay Jewelers store inside the Rolling Oaks Mall in San Antonio Sunday, police said. Two people tried to stop the robbery, and one was shot and killed by one suspect, police said.
The other person who tried to stop the robbery had a concealed carry license. He shot one suspect, who was transported to the hospital, police said.
The second suspect ran from the scene and was shooting as he ran, according to police. Six other people were injured and transported to the hospital.
The mall is locked down and the situation is still under investigation, police said.
