Sex offender captured in Las Vegas

The Waushara County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a registered sex offender who walked away from a transitional living home in Wautoma.

The Sheriff's Office says on December 5th they were notified by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections about a GPS monitor tamper alert at the transitional living home in Wautoma.

Deputies say when they got to the home they discovered that Lloyd R. Pitzen, 66, had cut his GPS bracelet off and left the home.

Police say Pitzen is a registered sex offender who has violent tendencies.

Pitzen is described as a white male who is 5'6" tall and about 166 pounds with gray or partially gray hair and blue eyes.

The Sheriff's Office says Pitzen was seen in Green Bay on Saturday December 5th and in Appleton on Sunday December 6th.

A warrant has been issued for Lloyd R. Pitzen  by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
