Police: Alcohol and ice to blame for crash in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY, WI -- Dodge County Sheriff's deputies say alcohol and ice covered roads are believed to be factors in a crash Sunday morning. 

It happened near the intersection of CTH P and Grant Road in the Township of Rubicon around 3:30 a.m. 

Officers say a 33-year-old man from Neosho was driving North on CTH P when he lost control of his car and went into the ditch. 

The vehicle rolled causing the driver to be ejected. Deputies say they found the driver was able to get to a nearby residence. 

The driver was transported to Aurora Hospital in Hartford. He suffered serious injuries in the crash. 

Deputies say alcohol and ice covered roads are believed to be factors in the crash. 

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
