Kimberly, WI -- The Fox Valley Metro Police Department has identified individuals involved in clown sightings at Sunset Park in Kimberly.
In a Facebook post by the department, officers say they were able to identify the individuals involved in the Sunset Park incidents over the weekend and they are currently being addressed.
Officers are reminding people that dressing as a clown and walking on public property is legal.
Police add, threatening or attempting to scare individuals or carrying any type of weapon is a criminal offense. They say it doesn't matter if the weapon is real or fake.
The Fox Valley Metro Police Department is investigating every incident reported.
If you are threatened by an individual with a weapon or have an issue with someone trespassing, report the incident immediately.
