The man charged in the murder of Thomas Wick takes a plea in a surprise hearing Tuesday.
Thirty-one-year-old Matthew Moore plead no contest to first degree reckless homicide for the 2012 murder of Thomas Wick.
Prosecutors recommended 40 years in prison and 5 years in prison for a separate overdose homicide case Moore is charged in.
Sentencing will be held May 5th.
