A post from the Green Bay Police Department’s Facebook page is going viral.
The picture shows an officer, playing catch with children in the neighborhood.
But there’s more: Officer Schroeder said, “It was a nice day and I wanted to play catch. The two brothers didn’t have a football so I went got one. I told them they could keep it so we could play more this summer when I have some free time!!”
Here’s the original post from Green Bay Police:
A citizen sent this picture of Officer Kyle Schroeder playing catch with a neighborhood kid.
This is what she said, “Hello, One of my girlfriends posted this on Facebook today and it warmed my heart and was too good to not share. Hopefully you can identify this officer for going out of his way!
Her girlfriend's original post was, ”While out running errands, I passed this police officer playing football with a little boy, and my heart was warmed. Between politics and social media, police officers have been portrayed in a negative manner.
Though I understand there are some bad cops, we must remember that there are bad in every profession, yet far more good”

Great job of connecting with the children in the neighborhood, Kyle and thank you ladies for taking the time to let us know you appreciate what we do.
