Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence has postponed a Wisconsin rally because it's the day before Donald Trump will be in the same city.
The planned Pence rally Tuesday night was to be in Waukesha, just four miles from where Trump was to be on Wednesday.
Pence spokesman Marc Lotter said Monday that since Trump will be in the same city the next day, "we are adjusting the schedule." Lotter says that Pence will be back to Wisconsin.
Pence is the governor of Indiana and he is working with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on debate preparation. Walker is standing in for Democrat Tim Kaine to help Pence prepare for the vice presidential debate next week.
Pence says they have held a couple mock debate sessions already.
