One person has died after being struck by a van on Interstate 43 in Sheboygan County.
Sheyboygan County deputies were called to the scene at 12:49 a.m. Wednesday.
A van had struck a pedestrian on I-43 south of state Highway 28 in the Town of Wilson. The person driving the van was a 47-year-old Sheboygan man.
Traffic was detoured on I-43 at County V for several hours while investigators were on the scene.
The pedestrian died from injuries sustained in the crash. Sheriff’s officials say foul play is not suspected.
The victim’s identity is not being released at this time.
