The Dodge County Sheriff's office says a 19-year-old man is dead after a being hit by a semi-tractor with box trailer on northbound US 151 in the township Beaver Dam.
It happened at 9:30 p.m. Monday night. Preliminary results in the investigation show the pedestrian was walking in the northbound US 151 inside traffic lane at Sth 33 when he was struck by a northbound semi-tractor operated by a 46-year-old man.
The driver of the semi was uninjured in the crash. The 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical examiner.
Names of persons involved in the traffic crash are being withheld pending family notification.
