A 24-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle on a road in northeastern Wisconsin.
The Marinette County Sheriff's Office says the crash was reported early Sunday on County Highway W near the border with Oconto County.
Investigators say the man, Cole W. Seitzer of Crooked Lake, was struck in the eastbound lane by an eastbound vehicle driven by Jannie L. Marsolek, 51 of Crivitz.
Seitzer died at the scene. The driver was not hurt.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor with the victim pedestrian, but not with the driver of the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and County Coroner.
This is Marinette County’s second traffic fatality in 2016.
