Getting a manicure, or a massage, sounds like a day at the spa.

Sasha Sliwinski, a student at Bay Port High School approached her teacher with an idea called "Glamour Gals" to help, senior citizens at nursing homes.

"We keep going to the same place, so you see the same ladies, so you get a relationship with them," said Sliwinski.

Sheryl King, a family consumer science teacher, said she appreciated the idea, to pamper women at nursing homes around Green Bay.

"They decided they wanted to be a part of it help out and meet people give back to the community," said King, "it's really cool to see that it's what's right with kids today you know? to see that..."

It's an experience for these students on compassion and caring, maybe the best lesson of all.
