We all know that reading is a fundamental skill children need to learn. But for many children, reading is something only done at school.
For many low income families buying books is not in the budget. NBC26 is teaming up with the Boys and Girls Club to help get books in the hands of more kids in Northeast Wisconsin.
Drop off a new or gently used book at the NBC26 studios at 1391 North Road in Ashwaubenon Friday. Then, on Halloween, bring the kids by our studios for trick-or-treating. We'll have the treats. All you have to do is bring a book to donate.
