GREEN BAY, Wis. — Whether it's flowers, plants or even veggies, you'll likely find it at West Green Bay High School's greenhouse.

Ashley Parent is a former student and has been a vital part in keeping this student-run greenhouse active.

"Ever since sophomore I've been doing it, I enjoy doing it, I enjoy every day of it," said Parent.

"I like to see the kids, when they come into the greenhouse, you know a lot of kids never touched this in their lives, but say this is fun I'll help you out on the weekends," said Parent. She adds she hopes to share her knowledge and inspiration to students.

Students like Kelsey Servais said she didn't know she had a love of gardening until joining this program, "I find it relaxing, and the fact that this is something I can do at home, makes it even better."

She says the lesson of this all is, "taking care of our earth, it's something we have to do."
