Update: The Shopko Foundation and NBC26 teamed up to give the Bobcat Bootcamp $1000 to help pay for new equipment. Staff says it will help them continue to serve students.

Dozens of teens are getting fit thanks to free CrossFit program at Franklin Middle School. Bobcat Bootcamp started as a summer program but staff decided to expand it through the school year. The number of students involved doubling , "It's something they get a taste of and what more and tell their friends and the number keeps growing," said Jeason Thomas.
The students meet three times a week after school,"I get to hang with my friends, workout and better myself" said Damone Presley. The program teaching teens that with hard work discipline, they can do anything.
