Luke Neumeyer was selected for Shopko's Kick-Off Kid on the week for his leadership at his school. The 12-year-old started a safety patrol program his middle school after seeing a need at recess.

Dean of Students, Robin Speidel, says the program has helped cut behavior problems at recess by 50 percent. "This is something that one student wanted to start that spread a bit the first year that really caught on across the grade level and really caught on," said Speidel.

Neumeyer says he never expected to get an opportunity to be on the Lambeau Field through starting this program, "I just like helping people," he added.

Neumeyer ran on the field to grab the tee after kick-off during the Seattle vs. Packers game September 10th. His favorite part, "Being by the big Packers, " said Neumeyer.

"He's an inspiration to the kids who say, I have an idea and I'm not sure if being kids that anyone will listen to you. We are listening and you can do great things. It doesn't matter how old you are." added Speidel.
